In addition to the railway service for transporting passengers, the company also operates other services in different areas of Catalonia: funicular railways, rack railways, mountain stations and historical trains.

In 1980, the company assumed the operation of the Gelida funicular railway service. Since 1986, it has also been managing the funicular railways of Sant Joan and Santa Cova, on the mountain of Montserrat, the Núria rack railway and the mountain railway stations of Vall de Núria and La Molina. In 2003 the Montserrat rack railway service was inaugurated.

In a different sphere of activities, in 1994 historical trains were first put into regular operation, both as family leisure activity options and pedagogical activities for students from schools all over Catalonia.

Did you know that the Sant Joan funicular railway, which links the Sanctuary of Montserrat with the top part of the mountain, has the steepest slope in all Spain (with a maximum gradient of 65.5 percent), and that both stations are separated from each other by 1,144 steps?
