Quality and the environment

One of the premises of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), is that while maintaining and improving all their services, they must respect and preserve the environment. For some time, all the company's business units have been working along these lines, completing various actions, such as selective collection, energy saving and quality control, to give a few examples.

Along these lines, the various FGC, business units, such as La Molina, Vall de Núria and the Montserrat Line (rack trains and funiculars) have the environmental ISO 14001, certification, for the good management with regards to the preservation of the environment. La Molina and Vall de Núria also have the "Q" for Quality certification, that is granted to facilities that offer tourist services.

The cargo business also has ISO 9001 certification.
